A collective action initiative of ASSET.
TISC Tank is a collective action initiative of ASSET, established with the goal of strengthening the infrastructure for collaboration and thought leadership among anti-slavery organizations. By facilitating critical discussions with anti-slavery allies, ASSET facilitates the sharing of lessons learned, and develops practical solutions and strategies to more effectively help policymakers, businesses and community organizations improve how they navigate existing and anticipated transparency legislation.
TISC Tank members all work to improve, evolve and support transparency as a mechanism in its changing systemic relevance. Participants will have the opportunity to influence the development and shaping of future path and related TISC TANK evaluation frameworks around impact measurement, in keeping with urgent global timelines laid out by the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
TISC Tank’s first informal meeting was held on September 30th 2020, on the 10th anniversary of the passage of The Transparency in Supply Chains Act in California (TISC CA). It has since continued to provide a dialogue and strategy space for thought leaders central to TISC passage in its current and expanding jurisdictions from the US, UK, Australia, Hong Kong and Europe. In order to maintain independence and autonomy from industry, TISC TANK is entirely supported by individuals, family foundations, and does not accept corporate sponsorships.
